We are your local YOGA studio perfectly located in a beautifully restored Art Deco arcade in the heart of Moss Vale.The studio has been a dedicated YOGA space for over twenty years!
Recently renovated and now airconditioned we are proud to offer this sanctuary for you to enjoy.
You are invited to journey within to move from exercise and effort to a subtle gathering of the mind, body and spirit to refresh and energise.
You will enjoy Asana or postures, breath work, meditation and the wonder of good company and community. You will be safely guided on your YOGA journey with compassion and humour.
Whether you are new to YOGA or have been practising for a while we have a class for you.

YOGA has supported Brit through all stages of life. She has been practising for over 25 years and has had the privilege of being Chris' student for 10 years.
Brit took over the operation of the studio in 2019.
Her joy is to bring YOGA to all levels of students and exploring many styles.
Brit completed her first teacher training with the Acharya Muktanand Meanjin at the Brisbane Yoga Therapy Centre in the late 1990's and her second TT with Kate Pell and Dan Alder at Bowral Yoga Studio.
She is raising her family in Moss Vale and is super excited to spend time on the mat with you.
Brit is a registered Yoga Australia teacher, IYTA pre and Post Natal Yoga teacher and a certified YogaEd Children's Yoga teacher.

YOGA has been an integral part of Chris' life for more than forty years first as a student then as a teacher.
She holds a Diploma in Yoga Teaching from the IYTA and has well as a wealth of experience in every aspect of Yoga.
Chris offers beautiful classes that balance physical and emotional wellbeing. Chris is well respected and much loved member of both the Southern Highlands and Australian YOGA community as one of the country's most senior teachers.
She is also a qualified and dedicated YOGA Therapist who now consults from her private studio. As our founder we are so lucky to have her continued presence and guidance at the Moss Vale Yoga Studio.

Moss Vale Yoga Studio is a registered Covid Safe business.
You will need to bring your own mat, hand sanitise on entry and check in via the Service NSW app.
By attending the studio you agree to our Covid Safe Plan and Guidelines.
The health and wellbeing of our community is paramount.
Please practise at home if you are unwell.
Can I just show up? Class sizes are limited due to the current Covid 19 guidelines and require a booking.
You can book online or send an email, text or call.
What do I bring? The studio is fully equipped but due to Covid-19 restrictions we are limiting the use of props and you will need to bring your own mat and a towel.
What if I can't touch my toes? Totally fine. We encourage you to listen to your body, move gently and in time... who knows? Maybe those toes will be a bit closer.
What should I wear? You don't need fancy gym wear. Something comfortable and loose. Bring a layer such as socks and a long sleeve top for relaxation.

FOLLOWS THE SCHOOL TERM: USUALLY 10 WEEKS
YOU CAN BOOK YOUR FAVORITE CLASS AND PAY A DISCOUNTED RATE AT THE START OF TERM. THEN ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SHOW UP WITH YOUR MAT AND ENJOY!

THE TUESDAY MORNING CLASSES ARE HEAVILY BOOKED. SHE IS TAKING NEW STUDENTS BUT PLEASE BOOK WELL AHEAD IF YOU WISH TO ATTEND HER CLASSES.
Moss Vale Yoga Studio is not limited to any one style of YOGA.
Your teachers draw on a diverse range of teaching and experience to offer a combination of Hatha, Restorative, Yin and Flowing classes.
Classes incorporate movement (Asana), breath work (Pranayama) and mindfulness (Meditation) and draw on many traditional and contemporary schools.
We are always studying and learning new ideas to keep classes fresh and fun.
BEGINNERS: While these classes offer their challenges they are a great starting point if you are new to yoga. Some students stay in this type of class because the time suits them, they enjoy the level of practice or feel complete. Experienced or not a beginners class is a delightful way to spend time moving your body and calming your mind.
GENERAL: These classes may offer a stronger style of Asana but still accessible for all levels. Fantastic for the yogi who is ready to extend their skills but also terrific if you are fairly active and want to add something special to your routine.
FLOW: A more active flowing class. Similar to a Vinyasa style but more movement, fewer long pauses and lots of fun. Plenty of options and progressions are suggested so that you can enjoy at your own pace.
YIN: Beautiful slow classes for those students who want to go deep into contemplation. Long holds in postures of up to five minutes to release fascia and stimulate meridians. Supported by props and modifications these classes are suitable for all levels.
PRE NATAL YOGA: Congratulations on your pregnancy! Suitable from around 12 weeks with your relevant health care providers OK. Enjoy some time connecting with your baby, preparing mentally for birth and restoring some much needed energy with some other expecting Mums.
Private and small group classes including functions, weddings and corporate events.
We all love some individual attention and we love tailoring a class that's just for you. Timetable doesn't work for you? Maybe we can work together at the time that suits you. We are delighted to host workshops and events. If you are looking for a venue then please contact us. We are located 90 minutes from Sydney and Canberra and 45 minutes from Goulburn and Wollongong. The studio is fully equipped with bathroom facilities onsite. There is a bus stop and train station literally at our doorstep. The main street of Moss Vale has gorgeous shops and cafes as well as supermarkets, banks and a post office. Plenty of parking available. The studio has been recently recarpeted and is now fully airconditioned. Lots of natural light it is a very special place to be.
