ABOUT BRIT

Looking forward to lots of lovely yoga with you!

My yoga journey began over 25 years ago and has been lots of fun so far!

I have met and made connections with the most amazing variety of people and I'm looking forward to sharing yoga with you!

 

My first teacher training was a long time ago with the late acharya Muktanand Meanajin at the Brisbane Yoga Therapy Centre.

I more recently added another 350 hour training with the wonderful Kate Pell and Dan Alder.

My education has continued with IYTA pre and post natal, children's yoga teaching with Yoga Ed and Kids Yoga Education, Power Living, Leslie Kaminoff and my clients teach me most of all.

Currently I am studying a Diploma of Professional Pilates instruction with PITC. 

 

When I moved to the beautiful Southern Highland about twelve years ago, I started coming to class here at the studio with Chris Hurditch. She has been my teacher, mentor and inspiration ever since and handed over the operation of the studio to me in 2019.

 

I love to teach flowing contemplative classes and also deep yin.

The physical aspect of moving our bodies , stretching, breathing and restoring is so appealing. Yet it is those rare times when we are totally present, when we step into the moment that the true yoga begins.

 

Whether this is a major step out of your comfort zone or yoga is already part of your lifestyle, I look forward to welcoming you to the studio.

I hope you will find the practice helps you to feel more comfortable in your body, able to breathe better and gives you some time to re set your energy for your busy life.
